Creating a webmail account in cPanel is a straightforward process. Simply follow these steps to create your web mail:

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

  1. Go to example.com/cpanel or your server’s cPanel URL.
  2. Enter your username and password provided by your hosting provider.

Step 2: Navigate to Email Accounts

In the cPanel Dashboard, find and click on “Email Accounts” under the Email section.

Step 3: Create a New Email Account

  1. Click on the “+ Create” button.
  2. Select the domain name (if you have multiple domains).
  3. Enter the desired email username (e.g., info@example.com).
  4. Set a strong password or use the Generate option.
  5. Set the Storage Space (e.g., 500MB, 1GB, or unlimited depending on your hosting plan).
  6. Click “Create” to finalize the email account.

Step 4: Access Webmail

  1. Go to yourdomain.com/webmail or yourdomain.com:2096.
  2. Enter the email address and password you just created.
  3. Choose a webmail client (Roundcube, Horde, or SquirrelMail).
  4. Start using your webmail!

Optional: You may wish to configure Email on Other Devices like Android/IPhone, Outlook e.t.c.

  • You can find IMAP, POP3, and SMTP settings in cPanel > Email Accounts > Connect Devices.
  • Use these settings to configure email on applications like Outlook, Thunderbird, or mobile email apps.
